Tamura Power Technologies de México is seeking an experienced Accountant to ensure compliance with general accounting, payroll, and tax obligations. You will supervise accounts payable, audit readiness, and coordinate cross‑department data reconciliation.

The role requires a CPA, 5+ years in Mexican accounting, and experience with ISR/IVA filings, IMSS/INFONAVIT payroll, and manufacturing environments. Proficiency in CONTPAQi and TRESS payroll is preferred.

Formación

• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years of accounting and taxation experience in Mexico.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, IMMEX/maquiladoras preferred.
• Experience with ISR (income tax) and IVA (VAT) filings.
• Payroll, IMSS and INFONAVIT experience.
• Experience with audits by tax authorities and government bodies.
• Proficiency with CONTPAQi and payroll reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with General Accounting, IMSS, Infonavit, SAT and labor regulations.
• Supervise accounts payable and perform tax reviews of invoices and CFDI compliance.
• Coordinate with Foreign Trade, Production and Finance to reconcile accounting, inventory and trade data.
• Coordinate and handle audits by authorities, including tax and labor audits.
• Maintain records for fixed assets and asset depreciation.

Accounting

• Responsible for complaince in Regards of General Accounting, IMSS, Infonavit, SAT and Labor
• Responsible for IMSS and INFONAVIT obligations and handling related audits or information requests from external CPA Auditors firm
• Supervise accounts payable, including tax review of invoices, payment schedule and CFDI compliance.
• Coordinate with Foreign Trade, Production, and Finance departments to reconcile accounting, inventory, and foreign trade data.
• Coordinate and handle financial, tax, IMSS, and INFONAVIT audits, as well as reviews by government authorities.
• Maintain accounting and tax records for fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and tax depreciation.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and taxation in Mexico.
• Experience in manufacturing companies, preferably IMMEX/maquiladoras.
• Solid experience with Income Tax (ISR), VAT (IVA), and monthly/annual tax filings.
• Experience with payroll, IMSS, and INFONAVIT.
• Experience with tax and financial audits.
• Experience with fixed assets and tax depreciation.
• Proficiency in CONTPAQi.
• Experience with TRESS, particularly payroll and reporting.
• Conversational/intermediate-to-advanced English.
