Key Responsibilities

Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for clients, including tracking assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities.
Reconcile bank accounts, including gathering and balancing relevant financial information.
Process accounting paperwork, including bank statements and client documentation.
Coordinate accounting workflows to ensure timely and high-quality output.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for their accounting and financial needs.
Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Work collaboratively with senior team members, receiving guidance and taking on more complex tasks as you develop.
Occasional extended business hours may be required when necessary.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
+2 years of accounting experience or relevant internships, with a clear understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Basic to intermediate knowledge of QuickBooks.
Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients in both languages (reading, writing, and speaking).
Knowledge of US corporate and personal tax regulations is a plus.

Ideal Qualifications

Experience working in a CPA or Bookkeeping firm.
Exposure to payroll processing or tax filing (Sales, Payroll, or Tangible Taxes).
Familiarity with Creative Solutions Suite (UltraTax CS and Practice CS).
Experience working with US-based companies.
