Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of complex commercial contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), software licenses, and partnership agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice on contractual terms, risks, and obligations to business stakeholders.
• Develop and implement standardized contract templates and playbooks to improve efficiency.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance and effective record-keeping.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on contract-related legal issues.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, procurement, and engineering, in a remote setting.
• Assist in developing negotiation strategies and provide guidance on complex deal structures.
• Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments impacting contractual relationships.

Requirements

• Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) and licensed to practice law in Mexico.
• Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience specializing in commercial contract law.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex, high-value agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of contract principles, remedies, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships remotely.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing a demanding workload independently.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.
• Experience in the technology or IT services sector is highly advantageous.
