Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Contract and M&A Attorney to join its fully remote legal team in Mexico. You will draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and lead mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience, deep knowledge of Mexican corporate, securities, and contract law, and excellent drafting and negotiating skills. This role offers remote work with strong collaboration and career growth.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• 8+ years experience in commercial contracts and M&A.
• Experience handling complex transactions and key agreements.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, securities, and contract law in Mexico.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines remotely.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Manage mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Conduct legal due diligence for transactional matters.
• Advise on contract terms, risks, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop standardized contract templates and playbooks.
