Placements24 is seeking an experienced International Corporate Attorney to join a fully remote legal team operating from anywhere in Mexico. You will support cross-border transactions, draft and negotiate complex international contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance across borders.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in international corporate law, strong negotiation and drafting skills, and fluency in English. Remote work offers autonomy and collaboration within a global legal group.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 8 years of international corporate law experience.
• Proven expertise in cross-border transactions, M&A, and international contracts.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Advise on international mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial agreements, distribution agreements, and licensing contracts.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, sanctions, and export controls.
• Provide legal guidance on foreign direct investment and cross-border structuring.
• Manage international dispute resolution and litigation as needed.
• Conduct legal due diligence for international transactions.
• Develop and implement global corporate policies and procedures.
• Liaise with foreign legal counsel and international regulatory bodies.
• Stay current on global legal trends and their impact on the business.
