Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Director - Senior Corporate Counsel for LATAM with extensive labor and employment expertise across multiple LATAM jurisdictions, including Mexico. The role requires hands-on advice to senior leadership, employee relations management, and governance for Mexican entities.

The individual will oversee region-wide labor matters, coordinate with Compliance and external counsel, and collaborate with Operations, HR, and other functions to balance legal risk with business

Qualifications

• Law degree and authorization to practice law in Mexico.
• At least 8 years of relevant legal experience, with substantial labor and employment experience in Mexico.
• Experience advising employers on day-to-day labor and employment matters.
• Solid background in Mexican corporate law, governance, entity maintenance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on labor and employment matters for LATAM operations, including employee relations and performance management.
• Manage labor disputes, claims and regulatory investigations; develop strategy for significant employment matters.
• Provide guidance on employment agreements, policies and workplace practices.
• Coordinate corporate governance and entity maintenance for Mexican entities; support board/shareholder processes.
