Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks an individual contributor in the Telecom Engineering group to read and interpret customer orders, process production drawings, and prepare 2D/3D models. You'll interface with multiple departments and support the design/order process under guidance.

Responsibilities include drawing preparation, problem investigation, and collaboration across engineering, production, and suppliers. Occasional travel to the US may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant design field and related experience.
• Fluent English communication, both oral and written.
• Hybrid schedule possible after initial in-office period.
• CAD proficiency with 2D/3D drafting and mathematics basics.
• Experience with 3D modeling and reading manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer orders and process drawings for production.
• Prepare 2D/3D drawings and data for teams and facilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, production, customers, and suppliers.
• Investigate design problems and propose changes to meet requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with procedures.
• Travel occasionally to the US for related work.
