Job summary

Emerson is seeking a CAD drafter with strong 2D/3D skills to create assembly drawings, validate layouts, and produce simplified models for customers. The role emphasizes precision, standards compliance, and revision control, while collaborating across teams in Mexico and the USA.

You will work with engineers on nuclear drawings and mentor new hires, leveraging your knowledge of CAD systems and engineering IT tools to deliver accurate designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Recently graduated.
• Worked previously with projects/initiatives related to this job description.

Responsibilities

• Create assembly drawings with dimensions, notes and validation against standards.
• Develop simplified 3D models for customer communication.
• Draft 2D/3D drawings and complete nuclear drawings meeting quality standards.
• Document all changes and manage revisions for each drawing.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and with customers in Mexico and USA.
• Mentor new hires and/or co-ops.
