Job summary

Valmont Industries in Apodaca, Nuevo León, seeks a drafting professional for the Telecom Engineering group. You will read and interpret customer orders, process production drawings, and prepare 2D/3D drawings using CAD tools, coordinating with other departments and the manufacturing facilities to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design or related field, fluent English, and CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or similar
• Fluent in English Oral and Written communication.
• Hybrid schedule may be possible; first 6 months require in-office work 5 days a week.
• Experience with 3-D modeling techniques.
• Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and design constraints.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer order information.
• Process orders for production and submittal drawings in line with Valmont standards.
• Prepare 2-D and 3-D drawings for teams and manufacturing facilities.
• Interface with other departments to resolve issues and meet lead times.
• Maintain accurate records and support process improvements.
