Job summary

Ford Champs in Mexico offers a 12-month IPTS Cooling Purchasing Trainee program designed to give hands‑on experience in automotive purchasing and supplier management. You will support sourcing, cost management, and cross-functional collaboration to launch current and future vehicle programs.

Advanced English is required to communicate with global teams and suppliers. Active students from the last two semesters of relevant fields, with strong analytical and Excel/PowerPoint skills, are encouraged

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• Active student from the last 2 semesters of Supply Chain Management, Business, International Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to interpret data and support business decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self‑motivated team player with excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and cost management activities for IPTS Cooling commodities to achieve program and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and suppliers to support product development, launch readiness, and issue resolution.
• Analyze supplier quotations, cost breakdowns, and market intelligence to support sourcing recommendations and negotiations.
• Lead and track action items with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of commitments, milestones, and launch requirements.
• Communicate effectively with global teams and suppliers in English, preparing presentations, reports, and executive-ready summaries.
