CobaltoTalent is seeking Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable specialists to work 100% remotely from Mexico for U.S. clients across construction, distribution, manufacturing and professional services.

You will manage vendor bills, payments, invoicing, and reconciliations, with English correspondence and strong Excel/QuickBooks skills. This role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and collaboration with the bookkeeper or controller on month-end close.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in accounts payable and/or receivable.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
• Intermediate English (B1+) for emails and calls.
• Solid Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations.
• Accurate with numbers and documentation habits.

Responsabilidades

• Accounts payable: code and enter vendor bills, match POs, enter receipts.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH and checks).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Accounts receivable: create/send invoices, apply payments, manage aging.
• Support month-end close with AP/AR reconciliations.

About the role

We are hiring Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable specialists to work 100% remotely from Mexico for small and mid-sized companies in the U.S., mainly construction, distribution, manufacturing and professional services.

What you will do

Accounts payable

• Receive, code and enter vendor bills; match them to purchase orders and receipts.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH and checks) for approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies by email or phone.
• Collect W-9s and keep vendor records current for 1099 reporting.

Accounts receivable

• Create and send customer invoices, including progress billing where needed.
• Apply customer payments and keep the aging report clean.
• Follow up on overdue invoices by email and phone in English.
• Support month-end close with AP/AR reconciliations for the bookkeeper or controller.

What you bring

Must have

• 2+ years in accounts payable and/or receivable.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online or Desktop experience.
• Intermediate English (B1+) for vendor and customer emails and calls.
• Solid Excel: lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations.
• Accuracy with numbers and a habit of documenting what you did.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. companies or U.S. accounting (ACH, 1099s, sales tax).
• Bill.com, Ramp, Sage, NetSuite or similar tools.
• Construction billing experience: progress billing, retainage, lien waivers.
• Degree or studies in accounting (Contaduría) or finance.
