Job summary

CobaltoTalent is seeking a remote Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable specialist to serve U.S. clients from Mexico. You will handle vendor bills, prepare payments, issue invoices, and manage collections. Strong communication in English and solid Excel skills are essential.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in AP/AR, experience with QuickBooks, and familiarity with U.S. accounting processes (1099s, ACH). Remote role with flexible collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

11 - Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialists

About the role

We are hiring Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable specialists to work 100% remotely from Mexico for small and mid-sized companies in the U.S., mainly construction, distribution, manufacturing and professional services.

What you will do

Accounts payable

• Receive, code and enter vendor bills; match them to purchase orders and receipts.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH and checks) for approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies by email or phone.
• Collect W-9s and keep vendor records current for 1099 reporting.

Accounts receivable

• Create and send customer invoices, including progress billing where needed.
• Apply customer payments and keep the aging report clean.
• Follow up on overdue invoices by email and phone in English.
• Support month-end close with AP/AR reconciliations for the bookkeeper or controller.

What you bring

Must have

• 2+ years in accounts payable and/or receivable.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online or Desktop experience.
