Librarian for Nepali Candidates in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Librarian to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library and its resources to provide a welcoming and efficient service to all library users. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloging and organizing materials, maintaining records and databases, and managing circulation services.
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide guidance on using library resources.
- Develop and implement programs and activities to promote literacy, reading, and learning among library users.
- Oversee the selection of new materials for the library collection based on current trends and user needs.
- Train and supervise library staff, volunteers, or interns as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment in the library.

Requirements:
- Must be of Nepali nationality with a valid passport.
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting.
- Knowledge of cataloging systems, database management, and information literacy techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month. In addition to this salary package, accommodation will be provided by the employer. Visa sponsorship will also be arranged for successful candidates.
