Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the lab, including specimen collection and patient care.
• Maintenance of equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Interact comfortably with patients and collect specimens using appropriate venipuncture techniques.
• Process specimens for testing and ensure samples are labeled correctly.
• Maintain patient charts and record vital signs as applicable (e.g., blood pressure or pulse rate).
