Job summary

Apparel Group in Kuwait seeks a Stock Associate to receive, inspect, and issue merchandise for store operations. You will count stock physically and electronically and report discrepancies to the store manager.

The role involves classifying and shelving products to ensure quick availability and tagging new stock as directed. You will assist sales staff with shelf replenishment, maintain store security, and uphold housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock/merchandise handling or warehouse operations.
• Physical fitness with ability to lift at least 10 kg.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect product quality and report discrepancies to store management.
• Classify and stock products in the stock room as per procedures for quick availability.
• Tag newly arrived stock and return items as instructed by seniors.
• Assist sales staff in replenishing shelves to ensure product availability.
• Maintain store security awareness and uphold loss prevention standards.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the store.
• Be flexible to work extended hours during sales/festivals.
• Record inward/outward inventory and maintain corresponding reports.
• Check for missing price tags and report them.
• Ability to lift heavy items (minimum 10 kg).
• Assist during Stock Take processes.

POSITION OBJECTIVE The position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing merchandise for use in the shop

Key Responsibilities

• Receive merchandize and count it physically and electronically in order to ensure accuracy of information
• Inspect the quality of the products and report the discrepancies to store manager / assistant store manager about damaged products
• Classify and stock the products in the stock room as per the store procedures to ensure quick availability of the product
• Tag the newly arrived stock and / or return the products as per the instruction of senior
• Assist the sales staff in replenishing stocks on the shelves in order to ensure availability of products at all times
• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence
• Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping standards
• Flexible to work for extended hours during the Sale / Festival period
• Must be physically fit and ability of heavy lifting
• Record the inventory inward / outward and maintain the report of the same
• Check for missing price tags and report the same
• Ability to heavy lift and minimum of 10 kg weight
• Assist during Stock Take processes
