Job Title: Senior Mechanical Technician
Department: On Sync Energy Management Services Company.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities within the assigned area.
- Lead teams in dismantling, inspection, repair, adjustment, and assembly of mechanical equipment.
- Maintain and repair pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, winches, cranes, valves, vessels, piping, exchangers, and coolers.
- Monitor work sites and ensure safe working conditions and good housekeeping.
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and other mechanical inspection instruments.
- Prepare basic sketches and support fabrication and welding activities when required.
- Manage requisitions for maintenance materials, tools, spare parts, and equipment.
- Maintain equipment records and update maintenance information in CMMS.
- Ensure all required tools, equipment, and materials are available before work begins.
- Operate mechanical tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within Oil & Gas facilities.
- OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or similar facilities, including at least 4 years in a similar position.
- Strong hands-on experience with rotating and static mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in precision measurement tools and mechanical inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, equipment assembly, fabrication, and repair.
- Experience using CMMS for maintenance records is preferred.
- Strong supervisory, technical, safety, and problem-solving skills.
