About the Role.
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Department: On Sync Energy Management Services Company.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, protection systems, substations, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing and analytical instruments and recommend system improvements.
- Develop and maintain equipment data, preventive maintenance records, and asset information within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Plan preventive maintenance activities, including manpower, materials, tools, and spare parts requirements.
- Prepare maintenance reports, shutdown analyses, failure investigations, and corrective maintenance reports.
- Operate and maintain high- and low-voltage electrical distribution networks in accordance with operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, permit-to-work requirements, and safe work practices.
- Provide technical guidance, supervise maintenance personnel, and support on-the-job training.
- Participate in emergency call-out duties and support continuous improvement of electrical maintenance activities.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial sector.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar utility facilities.
- Strong experience maintaining electrical equipment, substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for asset and maintenance management.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, and equipment reliability.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical control systems, electronic circuits, microprocessor-based equipment, and protection systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and maintenance best practices.
