Job summary

hudsonmanpower in Kuwait is hiring an experienced Sr Hostess for a reputed restaurant group. You will greet and seat guests, recognize VIPs, manage reservations and guest profiles, and coordinate with service teams to ensure seamless dining experiences.

The role requires 2–3 years in hosting or guest relations, supervisory experience preferred, and a diploma or degree in Hospitality/Business. Arabic & English fluency, accommodation and transport are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in restaurant hosting or guest relations.
• Senior/supervisory experience preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Experience with reservations, waitlists, VIP guests and service recovery.
• Sales or loyalty program experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet, acknowledge, seat and farewell guests professionally.
• Recognize VIP and regular guests and coordinate personalized service.
• Manage reservations, special requests, guest profiles and notes.
• Manage seating plans, waitlists, queues and table availability.
• Coordinate table allocation with Floor Manager and service team.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and service recovery.
• Maintain guest interaction and complaint records.
• Guide and coach junior hostesses and FOH staff.
• Allocate host-desk duties and monitor performance.
• Coordinate guest information with managers and service staff.
• Maintain host desk, entrance and guest areas.
• Handle telephone calls and reservation inquiries.
• Support promotions, guest loyalty and revenue objectives.
• Prepare reports on guest feedback, VIP activity and service trends.
• Complete shift handovers and ensure the host area is ready for the next shift
