Job summary

Turbo Pay seeks an experienced Operations & Field Manager to lead Kuwait-based logistics and field teams. You will identify key accounts, negotiate terms, and ensure exclusive partnerships while overseeing routes and drivers for timely collections.

Lead scheduling, route optimization, and warehouse controls; monitor performance, implement improvements, and maintain strict loss prevention. This role demands 24/7 responsiveness in a demanding field environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
• 3–7 years of experience in project operations, logistics, or supply chain in Kuwait.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours/day, 6 days/week, in a high-pressure field role.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and secure contracts with key accounts.
• Oversee daily operations across routes and drivers; ensure on-time collections.
• Manage drivers, field teams, and route execution; enforce policies.
• Prepare daily/weekly schedules; optimize routes using data & capacity.
• Supervise warehouse/inventory; monitor tanks and bulk storage levels.
• Monitor KPI metrics; track productivity, performance, and losses.
• Respond 24/7 to operational requirements and emergencies as needed.
• Follow up on hiring, logistics, and procurement to close tasks.

Job description

• Identify, approach, and secure contracts with key accounts
• Build long-term partnerships and ensure account exclusivity
• Negotiate commercial terms and increase monthly collection volumes
• Handle client retention, complaints, and expansion opportunities
• Represent the company professionally in all external engagements

2. Operations & Field Management

• Oversee daily operations across all routes and drivers
• Ensure on-time collections and efficient route execution
• Track volumes vs targets vs historical performance
• Monitor loading, unloading, and field execution
• Ensure zero leakage, theft, or operational inefficiencies
• Manage real-time field communication and issue escalation

3. Driver & Team Management

• Manage drivers, storekeepers, and field teams
• Enforce discipline, attendance, and company policies
• Monitor performance, productivity, and behavior
• Supervise through reporting tools (logs, photos, WhatsApp groups, etc.)
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and accountability

4. Scheduling & Route Optimization

• Prepare and manage daily and weekly collection schedules
• Optimize routes based on:
• Historical data
• Warehouse capacity
• Control fuel usage and operational costs

5. Warehouse & Inventory Control

• Supervise warehouse and storage operations
• Maintain accurate inventory records (incoming, storage, dispatch)
• Monitor tanks and bulk storage levels

6. Quality Control

• Ensure all collected material meets company quality standards
• Inspect incoming materials and reject non-compliant loads
• Coordinate with management on supplier performance and penalties

7. KPI Monitoring & Reporting

• Track and report daily and monthly:
• Driver productivity
• Key account performance
• Inventory movement
• Missed pickups and delays
• Compare performance (daily, weekly, historical)
• Identify gaps and take immediate corrective actions
• Monitor operations for irregularities or suspicious activity
• Ensure strict control systems to prevent loss or manipulation
• Flag and elevate issues immediately
• Support management in loss prevention and audits

9. Execution & Management Follow-Up

• Execute management instructions with urgency and precision

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience (in Kuwait) in project management, operations management, logistics, supply chain, FMCG, or related industries.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, field-based role (up to 12 hours/day) 6 days per week.
