Job summary

Ooredoo Kuwait is seeking a Senior Specialist for Opportunity Sizing & Mapping to drive data-driven insights and market assessments. You will collect, validate and tabulate data, producing trends, forecasts and management reports for strategic initiatives.

Collaborate with Strategy, CEO Support and cross-functional teams to support planning activities, market sizing and stakeholder reporting. Strong Arabic/English communication and data analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration / management, Economics, Accounting or any relevant business field.
• 3-4 years' experience in a relevant field of work.
• Strong analytical skills and capabilities.
• Good interpersonal & communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sizing, evaluation and assessment of new projects, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities.

The Purpose

The scope of this role includes the sizing, evaluation, and assessment of new projects, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities. The role is responsible for conducting data collection, validation, screening, tabulation, business analysis, performance evaluation, and cross-functional coordination to support the delivery of data-driven insights, trends, forecasts, and management reports.

Working closely with the Strategy & CEO Support team and key stakeholders across the organization, the position will support strategic planning activities through market assessments, competitor analysis, business performance reviews, and opportunity evaluations. The role will also provide comprehensive decision-support analytics, including target versus actual performance tracking, trend analysis, scenario assessments, and business insights, enabling management to make informed and timely strategic decisions.

Key Accountabilties & Responsiblities

Sizing, evaluation and assessment of new projects, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities.

Execute analysis on the BI system to develop and generate reports / dashboards.

Develop Dashboards / MIS Reports as per the needs of Strategy.

Support Manager in post closure business evaluation of Strategic Partnerships.

Perform trends analysis and new growth opportunity / competitor analysis including peers’ performance.

Analyse commercial trends and performance.

Support in creating and managing the reporting systems.

Conduct deep-dive to generate insights on specific Q&A coming from different stakeholders.

Suggest / Improve data quality and data gaps and handle cross functional co-ordination to enhance data inputs.

Support Manager in executing periodic reports on key performance metrics for business parameters.

Research on competition pricing and product activities and their performances.

Ensure accuracy and consistency of the reports generated.

Automate reporting process and improve dashboard efficiency using BI tools.

Key KPIs tracking and performance with level 1 and level 2 insights and trends.

Execute any additional data related deliverables and projects as directed.

Work closely with B2C and B2B teams across the organization to support strategic projects and initiatives, including market sizing, data collection and validation, data tabulation, gap analysis, business assessments, and the preparation of management insights.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely information flow, alignment on assumptions, and effective communication of key findings and recommendations.

Support the Strategy and Business Planning in executing management deliverables.

Provide reports and presentations as per business needs.

Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.

Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors.
