Job summary

Client of Michael Page seeks a senior finance and supply chain leader to oversee Kuwait operations, ensuring financial integrity and operational effectiveness across functions, with accountability for audits, controls, treasury, procurement, and planning.

Role requires deep experience in finance leadership, strong governance, GCC exposure (Kuwait preferred), English fluency, and willingness to relocate. The position offers breadth across finance and supply chain in a dynamic consumer sector.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accuracy and completeness of financial records reconciliations and reporting processes.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in line with corporate reporting requirements.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance and timely completion.
  • Act as the key contact for external auditors, regulatory bodies and government authorities.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive internal control framework across finance and operational functions.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures, policies and approval processes.
  • Ensure clear segregation of duties and compliance with delegated authority frameworks.
  • Strengthen expenditure controls and improve accountability across all payment and procurement activities.
  • Oversee payroll governance and ensure adherence to all relevant employment and payment regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement fraud prevention and detection measures.
  • Develop and manage cash flow forecasting processes; drive working capital improvement across receivables, payables and inventory.
  • Manage banking relationships, treasury activities and payment authorization controls.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and address liquidity risks proactively.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning cycles.
  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis and performance insights for decision making.
  • Evaluate profitability by product, channel, customer and market segment.
  • Support pricing strategies, portfolio decisions, investment evaluations and commercial initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive business performance while maintaining governance standards.
  • Own demand and supply planning to ensure inventory availability.
  • Oversee procurement, supplier management and logistics.
  • Manage warehousing, inventory accuracy, stock controls and waste reduction.
  • Oversee distribution performance, service levels and delivery cost optimization.
  • Build organizational capability and document critical processes.

  • Manage warehousing operations inventory accuracy stock controls and waste reduction initiatives
  • Oversee distribution performance service levels and delivery cost optimization
  • Build organizational capability and ensure critical processes are fully documented and sustainable
Qualifications
  • * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • * ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • * 10+ years of finance experience.
  • * Strong background within F&B or FMCG industries.
  • * Experience in a senior finance leadership role with full business responsibility.
  • * Proven track record in financial controls, governance, and risk management.
  • * Experience managing cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities.
  • * Hands-on exposure to supply chain operations, including procurement and logistics.
  • * GCC experience, ideally with exposure to Kuwait.
  • * Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
  • * Fluent English required. Arabic is an advantage.
  • * Open to relocation to Kuwait.
