Job summary

Aventus Global is seeking an exceptionally skilled PaaS Specialist in Kuwait for a 12-month onsite engagement. You will automate provisioning and configuration of enterprise PaaS, enforce security baselines, and support developer self-service portals. Collaboration with DevOps, security, and application teams is essential.

You bring 7+ years in platform engineering, deep cloud PaaS knowledge, and strong automation skills to drive standardized, secure PaaS environments across AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years in cloud platform engineering or systems administration.
• Extensive experience configuring and automating Cloud PaaS across AWS/Azure.
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible for infra automation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption-at-rest, and network segmentation.
• Ability to work on a 12-month onsite Kuwait engagement.

Responsibilities

• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise PaaS offerings.
• Deploy and manage managed databases, messaging queues, and serverless runtimes.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Create secure PaaS catalogs and self-service provisioning workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams.
• Monitor performance, scaling, and high-availability of PaaS resources.
• Troubleshoot incidents and optimize middleware performance.
• Implement automated patching, backups, and DR for PaaS.
• Mentor teams on PaaS utilization and cloud-native patterns.
• Document runbooks, hardening guides, and architecture specs.
