Detailed Job Description

As a Cloud Demand Specialist in Kuwait via Aventus Global, you will serve as the principal functional authority responsible for orchestrating cloud resource demand intake and service delivery pipelines. Your daily responsibilities will encompass managing demand intake channels for cloud and AI initiatives, facilitating prioritization committees, driving approval workflows, and coordinating delivery schedules with engineering teams. You will work closely with business units, CCoE leads, and project managers over a 12-month engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end cloud and AI demand intake channels, intake portals, and stakeholder submission workflows.
• Coordinate and facilitate demand prioritization committees, resource allocation boards, and executive approval cycles.
• Evaluate business cases, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment for incoming cloud and artificial intelligence requests.
• Coordinate delivery timelines, milestones, and release schedules across multidisciplinary cloud engineering teams.
• Maintain comprehensive demand portfolios, tracking dashboards, backlog metrics, and capacity planning reports.
• Collaborate proactively with business unit leaders, CCoE governance specialists, and technical project managers.
• Identify resource bottlenecks, delivery risks, and dependency conflicts across active cloud programs.
• Streamline intake-to-delivery processes, reducing provisioning lead times and improving service delivery velocity.
• Participate in agile program increment planning, status reviews, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
• Author comprehensive demand management runbooks, portfolio reports, and governance documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 5+ years specializing in IT demand management, PMO leadership, or portfolio governance.
• Proven practical experience managing demand intake, prioritization, and delivery coordination for large-scale cloud or AI programs.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, ITIL service management, and project management tools (Jira/Confluence).
• Outstanding analytical problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to commit to a 12-month onsite engagement in Kuwait.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or ITIL Foundation.
