Job summary

Aventus Global is seeking an exceptionally skilled IaC/DevOps specialist to join its cloud transformation team in Kuwait on a 12-month onsite engagement. You will develop modular IaC, automate provisioning, and build robust CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of DevOps experience, deep Terraform expertise, and strong automation skills across GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Deep technical proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Terraform Cloud, or OpenTofu.
• Extensive hands‑on expertise configuring CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation tooling.
• Solid working knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud networking.
• Outstanding analytical problem‑solving, debugging, and cross‑functional communication capabilities.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to commit to a 12-month onsite engagement in Kuwait.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular IaC templates utilizing Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate the end-to-end provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud IaaS components.
• Configure, optimize, and manage enterprise CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure and microservices deployments.
• Integrate automated security scanning, static code analysis (Checkov, SonarQube), and compliance checks into deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate proactively with cloud migration engineers, software developers, and security teams during agile release cycles.
• Monitor pipeline performance, build speeds, deployment reliability, and artifact management repositories.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment failures, state file locks, and infrastructure drift issues.
• Implement immutable infrastructure patterns, zero-downtime deployment strategies, and automated rollbacks.
• Mentor junior engineers on GitOps workflows, version control best practices, and IaC design principles.
• Author comprehensive CI/CD runbooks, IaC module documentation, and pipeline architecture blueprints.
