Job summary

PrimeDefense USA in Hawalli, Kuwait, seeks an Indian Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen operations, develop menus reflecting the restaurant concept, and lead a diverse team to deliver top-quality dining experiences.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a fine dining executive role, deep knowledge of Indian cuisine, strong leadership, and fluency in English (Arabic a plus); Middle East experience preferred. Salary 1,100 USD monthly with accommodation, visa, and tickets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
• Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and culinary techniques.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Experience working in the Middle East is preferred.
• Indian nationality preferred but open to other nationalities with experience in Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
• Oversee and manage all kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Control food costs by managing inventory levels, portion sizes, and waste
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
• Develop relationships with local suppliers to source the freshest ingredients
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
