Job summary

We are seeking a skilled Indian Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations in Hawalli, Kuwait. The role focuses on authentic Indian flavors, menu development, and quality control in a dynamic restaurant/hotel setting.

This temporary position offers $1100 monthly salary and potential accommodation if needed. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years as an Executive Chef in Indian cuisine, strong leadership, English fluency, and the ability to obtain Kuwait work permits.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as Executive Chef in Indian cuisine.
• Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients and techniques.
• Fluent in English and able to obtain Kuwait work permits/visas.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and create new dishes while adhering to authentic Indian flavors and techniques.
• Source high-quality ingredients and maintain food cost control.
• Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoring performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and portion control to maintain high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop new seasonal menus.
