Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-end restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques and plating styles.
• Strong leadership and ability to train and motivate kitchen staff.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with other departments and handle customer concerns.
• Ability to manage budgets, order supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Attention to detail with a focus on high standards for food quality and presentation.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking and plating.
• Create new menu items and update existing ones based on market trends and customer preferences.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality of food.
• Ensure food safety standards are met at all times.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with other departments such as front of house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for customers.
• Monitor food costs and make adjustments to menu items as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and efficient kitchen environment.
• Handle any customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service promptly.
