Job summary

Boutiqaat is seeking a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Kuwait. You will forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and support product availability across online and retail channels.

Responsibilities include developing forecasts, analyzing sales performance, and maintaining planning dashboards and Excel models to help drive inventory health and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
• 2–5 years of experience in demand planning or related roles.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or multi-channel environments is desirable.

What You'll Be Doing:

Support Demand Forecasting

• Develop demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonal trends, promotions, and market insights.


• Analyze sales performance across online and offline channels to improve forecast accuracy.


• Assist in building both short-term and long-term demand plans.


• Monitor changing demand patterns and identify potential risks or opportunities.


• Update forecasting models to reflect evolving business needs.

Optimize Inventory Performance

• Monitor inventory levels across warehouses, retail stores, and e-commerce channels.


• Identify risks related to overstock, stock shortages, and slow-moving inventory.


• Support replenishment planning to maintain optimal stock availability.


• Track inventory movement, sell-through rates, and aging stock to improve inventory health.


• Help maintain balanced inventory levels that support customer demand and commercial objectives.

Coordinate Across the Supply Chain

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely product replenishment.


• Monitor purchase orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.


• Communicate inventory updates and highlight supply constraints or potential delays.


• Support the smooth movement of products from suppliers through warehouses to stores and customers.

Analyze Data & Report Performance

• Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and stock performance.


• Maintain planning dashboards, Excel models, and inventory trackers.


• Monitor key metrics, including forecast accuracy, stock turnover, sell-through, and product availability.


• Validate planning data to ensure accuracy and reliability.


• Provide insights that support inventory optimization and business decision-making.

Improve Planning Processes

• Maintain accurate records of demand plans, stock movements, and replenishment activities.


• Support the implementation of planning best practices and operational improvements.


• Identify planning process gaps and recommend practical solutions.


• Ensure planning documentation remains organized, accurate, and up to date.


• Contribute to continuous improvements that enhance supply chain efficiency.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.


• 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, supply chain coordination, or a similar analytical role.


• Experience within retail, e-commerce, or multi-channel inventory environments is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.


• Experience using ERP systems or inventory planning software is preferred.


• Familiarity with reporting tools and business dashboards is an advantage.


• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
