Detailed Job Description:

As a CCoE Governance Specialist in Kuwait via Aventus Global, you will serve as a principal governance authority responsible for directing enterprise-wide cloud adoption strategies and policy frameworks. Your daily responsibilities will encompass driving Cloud Center of Excellence governance forums, defining cloud compliance and security standards, establishing executive reporting dashboards, and aligning technical execution with business unit objectives. You will work closely with multi-cloud architects, FinOps teams, and executive leadership to ensure transparent and compliant cloud operations over a 12-month engagement. Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 15+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 8+ years specializing in IT governance, cloud strategy, or enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record leading CCoE governance frameworks for large-scale cloud transformation programs in enterprise environments.
• Deep specialized expertise in cloud operating models, compliance standards, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
• Exceptional leadership, executive communication, negotiation, and cross-functional management capabilities.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to commit to a 12-month onsite engagement in Kuwait (immediate joiners preferred).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or TOGAF 9 Certified.
