Job summary

STC Kuwait Telecommunications Company is seeking a Senior Presales Multi-Cloud Solutions Architect to lead client-facing architecture for complex hybrid cloud and modernization opportunities. You will own the end-to-end technical sales cycle from discovery to handover, ensuring solutions are credible, secure by design, and aligned with customer outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience in multi-cloud environments, strong regulatory and security awareness, and relevant cloud

Qualifications

• 11+ years in multi-cloud architecture, cloud migration, platform engineering, or enterprise infra modernization.
• Certifications: at least one of AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, Red Hat Certified Architect in OpenShift.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with CIOs, CTOs, and sponsors to define business outcomes and requirements.
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud target architectures including landing zones, identity, connectivity, and cost management.
• Build migration and modernization roadmaps for legacy apps and platforms.
• Lead technical bid responses, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept planning.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and vendor teams to define scopes, estimates, and transition plans.
• Ensure high-quality handover packages with assumptions, risks, and acceptance criteria.

E-portal is actively recruiting for the role of Senior Presales Multi-Cloud Solutions Architect In this role you will be the lead client-facing architect for complex multi-cloud hybrid cloud and cloud-modernization opportunities You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end technical sales cycle from discovery to proposal and handover ensuring that every proposed solution is commercially credible delivery-ready secure by design and aligned to customer business outcomes rather than only to infrastructure features

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead discovery workshops with CIOs CTOs infrastructure teams security teams and business sponsors to define business outcomes regulatory constraints latency requirements resilience targets data residency needs and workload placement rules Design hybrid and multi-cloud target architectures covering landing zones identity connectivity network topology observability backup disaster recovery governance and cost management Build migration and modernisation roadmaps for legacy applications databases virtualised estates and containerised platforms Lead technical bid responses reference architectures architecture review boards solution walkthroughs and proof-of-concept or pilot planning Work closely with sales alliances delivery and vendor teams to build accurate BoQ licensing assumptions services scope migration effort estimates and transition plans Ensure every won opportunity has a high-quality handover package including assumptions dependencies risks integration points security requirements and acceptance criteria

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below minimum criteria:

A minimum of 11 years' experience in multi-cloud architecture, cloud migration, platform engineering, or enterprise infrastructure modernization, with at least several years in customer-facing presales or consulting roles.Strong experience in regulated or mission-critical sectors in Kuwait or the GCC is preferred.Must have at least one of these certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, and Red Hat Certified Architect in OpenShift.A bachelor's degree.A master's degree is a plus.Majors required include: cloud computing, enterprise architecture, business information systems, or technology management.
