Job summary

Baker Hughes Company in Kuwait is seeking an Applications Engineer to deliver flawless execution across pre-planning, job execution and post-job analysis. You will develop technical programs and designs that meet client objectives within contract terms, collaborating with Service Delivery Coordinators and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a STEM degree, 7+ years in Drilling Services and directional drilling experience, plus strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in STEM.
• 7+ years in Drilling Services.
• Experience in directional drilling.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Coordinator to align client objectives and commercial terms.
• Perform engineering modelling to understand application hazards and incident potential.
• Design a job program with risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Document calculations and revisions for visibility and audit.
• Provide on-demand support during job execution.
• Participate in incident investigations when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures.
