Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an AMO Electro-Mechanical Technician in Kuwait to join the Drilling Services team. You will perform maintenance, assembly and manufacturing on down-hole tools and surface instrumentation, working with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and safety.

Candidates should have a diploma or relevant degree, 5+ years in electro-mechanical drilling maintenance, and hands-on experience with basic tools and precision measuring equipment.

Qualifications

• Have diploma or any relevant degree.
• Have 5+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical drilling function.
• Have previous experience with Baker Hughes (preferred).
• Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and be able to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
• Assisting with activities to ensure repairs, scheduled and preventive maintenance on factory equipment are completed on-time and safely.
• Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing or engineering specifications and ISO requirements to ensure compliance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting knowledge.
