Job summary
United Digestive is seeking an IT Analyst to join an on-site team focused on delivering high-quality technical support for physicians and staff. The role emphasizes patient data security and HIPAA compliance while maintaining desktop, server, and network equipment.
The ideal candidate will handle Tier 1 support, assist with IT projects, and ensure adherence to IT policies. A background in healthcare IT and familiarity with eClinicalWorks or HL7 interfaces is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; two years IT experience or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- ITIL 4 Foundations Certification required or obtained within 60 days of employment.
- Familiar with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11; Server 2012/2019).
- Experience with TCP/IP, Citrix/Terminal Services, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange O365, Cisco Meraki switching.
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications, SharePoint, VMware ESX preferred; healthcare IT and HIPAA familiarity preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain computers, IP phones, servers, and network equipment.
- Handle Tier 1 IT support/help desk daily.
- Assist with small- to medium-sized IT projects.
- Enforce IT policies and HIPAA compliance.
- Respond to calls, emails, and voicemails promptly and professionally.
