Job summary

Terrebonne General Health System seeks an Application Analyst to support and optimize Epic EHR workflows within our physician office setting. The role bridges clinical operations and health IT to improve patient care and provider efficiency.

You will participate in the life cycle of information systems, focusing on reporting, project management, software support, and process changes to guide system implementations across staff. On-site role supporting clinicians and providers.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate of Science or equivalent preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in healthcare or related experience
• Skills in Project Management is preferred.
• Professional license (e.g. Nursing, Clinical, or other Health related fields) preferred
• Experience with database tools, and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Products desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize work and excellent organizational skills and initiative to improve processes.

Position Description:

Due to the growth in healthcare services, we are seeking a clinically experienced professional who is customer service driven to support Clinicians and Providers within our Physician office setting. This position will support and optimize Epic EHR workflows within our physician office setting. This role bridges clinical operations and health IT, ensuring that Epic is used effectively to enhance patient care and provider efficiency.

The Application Analyst will participate in all aspects of the Life Cycle of Information Systems. Informatics activities will focus on a role in reporting, project management, software support, and process changes that will guide the implementation of systems and applications helping to achieve the strategic goal of an electronic system. The Application Analyst will utilize methods and technologies of information management including but not limited to the development, support and evaluation of applications, tools, processes, and structures, which assist staff in the management of data. The Applications analysts work with the Applications supervisors to plan, implement, evaluate, and support initiatives and projects.
