Job summary

Soliant Health in California is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year to work with students in a supportive educational setting, delivering direct OT services and promoting participation in learning.

The role requires a California OT license, school experience preferred, IEP knowledge, collaboration with teachers and families, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Valid California Occupational Therapy license.
Experience in school settings preferred.
Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance.
Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff and families.
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct OT services to students on caseload, individually and in groups.
Assess and document students' functional abilities and therapy needs.
Develop, implement and monitor customized intervention plans to support academic participation.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress.
Educate school staff and families on strategies to support motor, sensory and self-care needs within classroom environments.
Maintain accurate records and comply with reporting requirements.
