SUNY's Syracuse campus seeks a Library Systems Specialist to manage library technology, staff devices, printers, and printing services while helping integrate enterprise systems like Alma and ILLiad.
You will contribute to documentation and liaise with campus IT to keep systems secure and up-to-date. Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
The Library Systems Specialist provides technology support for library computers, student printing, and technologies throughout the library as well as contribute to the creative integration of library systems, including:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years experience, or associate's degree and 4 years of related experience. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to identify, analyze, and creatively solve problems; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at various levels of technical proficiency required.
M-F Days, some holidays required.
