Who we are
Novamont, a Versalis (Eni) company, is a certified B Corporation Benefit Company, an international player in the biodegradable and compostable bioplastics sector and in the development of bioproducts and biochemicals that are wholly or partly of plant origin. We promote a circular approach to the bioeconomy aimed at redesigning the way in which materials and applications are produced, consumed and disposed of, encouraging the creation of virtuous local supply chains. By creating synergies between different areas of study (bioplastics, biotechnology, agronomy, organic chemistry, product ecology), we have developed and continue to develop a series of solutions with an increasing renewable content, biodegradable and compostable, with multiple end-of-life, which since their origins represent an opportunity to start joint projects with stakeholders who share with us the need to rethink applications and supply chains in the logic of ever greater resource efficiency.
