A leading Global Beauty Group is seeking a Demand Planner to be based in their offices in Milan.
Reporting to the Global Demand Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and aligning global demand plans, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our planning processes.
- Lead and support the local S &OP process in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, following the established monthly cycle.
- Prepare and communicate final product forecasts to Supply Chain teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales & Marketing regarding demand planning and forecasting.
- Ensure full alignment between commercial plans and demand plans.
- Proactively identify risks, constraints, and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring clear communication to internal stakeholders.
- Deliver regular reporting and analysis on key KPIs, including forecast accuracy, bias, rejections, and monthly forecast changes.
- Solid experience in Demand Planning, ideally within the perfume / fragrance, cosmetics, beauty, or mass-market sectors, with at least 2 years in a demand planning role.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or engineering.
- Ideally, experience with FuturMaster as a Demand Planning tool.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving global supply chain environment.
- Fluency in Italian and English (French is a plus).
