Job Description Summary

Provides expertise in analyzing technical learning needs for a business or function then designs and delivers training solutions. Impacts quality of own He/She schedules, orders and tracks of all training courses organized in the Site, runs the system for qualification traceability (Skill Matrix). Performs needs assessments for organizations, then designs and facilitates employee training materials and programs. Training can include a variety of topics to meet an organization’s needs. Provides support in the process of developing and maintaining training programs. He/her job description entails overseeing training processes by monitoring training methods and giving feedback on training areas that need to be improved. Works with other functions to identify training requirements and institutes plans for training new and existing employees methods, coaching and skill development. He/She also uses technical skills to support the rest of the team and ensure all employees are working efficiently and to company standards.

1. Perform CVP (Competency Verification Process) to new employee and contractors
2. Develops and Lead effective induction programs
3. Coordinates appropriate training activities for new recruits and current employee.
4. Participate to qualification appraisals
5. Administrate Skill Matrix
6. Designs and delivers of all systems learning and development solutions in conjunction with the relevant subject matter experts
7. Communicates with the employees and discuss with them the technical issues all are facing.
8. Leads training themselves through in-person classes or online instruction.
9. Develops training manuals that target tangible results.
10. Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
11. Maintains training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)
12. Administers training nominations, training registration and training logistics
13. Gathers feedback on sessions from attendees for improving future content and presentation
14. Coordinates with trainers, facilitators, trainings’ partners and training beneficiaries
15. Contributes to the choosing of appropriate training methods and materials.
16. Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
17. Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
18. Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.
19. Creates materials for the training sessions.
20. Oversees the maintenance of records of curriculum and materials
21. Participates and assists in the development and implementation of plans
22. Oversees employee attendance and performance
23. Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
24. Reviews existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance
25. Communicates all the training programs on a timely basis
26. Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
27. Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.
28. Organizes training sessions specific to various roles in the company.

1. Experience in technical role, preferably in the energy or engineering sector
2. Proven experience in turbine assembly
3. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred; or equivalent experience
4. GE products and Quality tools knowledge nice to have
5. Demonstrated experience managing change in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment.
6. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
7. Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken
