Description: We are currently seeking Per Diem Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (RN / LPN) professionals interested in working as Independent Contractors in Naples, Florida.
Job Responsibilities:
- Have experience working with patients with tracheostomies and ventilators.
- Manage nursing care plans and educate patients and families on appropriate treatments to improve or maintain health.
- Maintain a safe work environment and perform all responsibilities safely.
- Administer medications within scope of practice.
- Report changes in a patient's condition promptly to the physician or appropriate individual.
- Complete documentation for patient care and mobilize resources during crises.
- Act as a liaison between physicians, staff, and patients/families, communicating about patient needs and findings to promote continuity of care.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
- Be comfortable working in an in-home setting.
