Job summary
A global leader in engineering and delivery is seeking a QA / QC Engineer for a 12-Month contract in Milan. The role involves ensuring quality compliance during the execution of Data Centre projects. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering and experience in large-scale construction. Strong communication skills are essential. Qualifications
- Degree level in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering preferred.
- Experience in Data Centre or large scale construction projects recommended.
- Previous experience in a quality role is advantageous.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. - Conduct reviews and witness system testing, inspect system installations, and compile system test packs and handover dossiers.
- Identify room for improvement in QA / QC procedures
- Ensure installations comply with clients' quality plans, standards, specifications, designs, procedures, and expectations.
- Work closely with teams in other disciplines and communicate effectively with subcontractors
- Develop system and equipment testing packs using Project Quality Management Software.
- Collaborate with site construction teams throughout the installation process.
- Perform regular site quality audits.
- Participate in quality meetings with management and subcontractors and provide quality reports.
- Implement company quality control systems.
- Involvement in documentation and reporting
- Ensure that detailed records are kept of quality inspections, test results and non-conformance reports
- Conduct inspections and audits
- Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering background – Degree level preferred
- Experience in large scale construction projects – Data Centre or similar
- Previous experience in a similar quality role would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Quality Management Software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
