• Ensure accurate general ledger accounting in compliance with national and international accounting standards (OIC/IFRS)
• Manage periodic tax obligations (VAT, corporate income taxes, withholding taxes, tax returns)
• Support the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations, assessing their impact on the company
• Manage relationships with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities
• Collaborate with the Finance team and other departments to ensure proper application of tax regulations across business processes
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting and tax processes, including ERP system optimization
• Contribute to manage accounting aspects relating to HR management

You may be asked to support additional finance-related tasks as your role evolves.

• Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors)
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4)
• In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS)
• Strong understanding of Italian tax regulations
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English
• Availability to travel weekly to the company location in Emilia-Romagna
