Maison Valentino is seeking an experienced Visual Merchandiser for Outlet and Wholesale channels. You will define VM strategy, adapt guidelines to formats, and drive campaigns aligned with luxury branding.

You will coach regional teams, monitor in-store execution, and support openings and special projects across markets. The role requires 5+ years in VM within luxury fashion, strong partner management, and regular international travel.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of Visual Merchandising experience within the luxury fashion industry.
• Strong knowledge of Retail, Wholesale and Outlet channels.
• Experience supporting global VM execution.
• Solid understanding of wholesale partner management and adapting communication/execution to partners.
• Strong product sensitivity and ability to translate client buying decisions into VM setups.
• Experience collaborating with Buying, Merchandising and Retail teams to align VM guidelines with commercial objectives.
• Hands-on VM planning, setup and operational execution.
• Excellent project management, organization and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally 1–2 trips per month.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• VM Coordination – Outlet & Wholesale
  • Support the definition and implementation of the global VM strategy for the Outlet and Wholesale channels.
  • Ensure the consistent application of brand image and visual presentation standards worldwide.
  • Adapt global guidelines to the specific needs of different distribution formats, while preserving the brand’s identity and luxury positioning.
  • Partner with regional teams to identify VM opportunities to enhance customer experience and commercial performance.
• Guidelines & Product Storytelling
  • Develop and regularly update VM guidelines specifically for the Outlet and Wholesale channels.
  • Coordinate the implementation of seasonal campaigns, product launches and commercial initiatives.
  • Ensure product storytelling is aligned with commercial priorities and the overall brand strategy.
  • Gather feedback from regional teams to drive the continuous improvement of VM guidelines.
• Execution Quality Monitoring
  • Regularly review in-store execution through photographic reports, store visits and follow-ups with regional teams.
  • Identify areas for improvement and define action plans to strengthen VM compliance and execution.
  • Monitor product display, merchandising hierarchy and the effectiveness of commercial installations.
• Field Visits & Market Support
  • Plan and conduct VM visits across key Outlet stores and Wholesale points of sale.
  • Provide coaching and operational support to regional teams and local partners.
• Openings & Special Projects
  • Support VM activities related to new openings, relocations, refurbishments and special projects.
  • Collaborate with Retail, Store Planning and Regional Management teams to ensure compliance with Valentino standards.
  • Coordinate the installation of VM tools and materials dedicated to the Outlet and Wholesale channels.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Retail, Merchandising, Buying, Marketing and Store Planning teams.
  • Support alignment between commercial strategy and product presentation.
  • Act as a key point of reference for all VM-related topics concerning the Outlet and Wholesale channels, working closely with the HQ Outlet & Wholesale Management and the VM Director.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Visual Merchandising experience within the luxury fashion industry.
• Strong knowledge of Retail, Wholesale and Outlet channels, with experience supporting global VM execution.
• Solid understanding of wholesale partner management and the ability to adapt communication and execution strategies to different external partners.
• Strong product sensitivity and ability to translate client buying decisions into effective VM setups.
• Experience collaborating with Buying, Merchandising and Retail teams to align VM guidelines with commercial objectives.
• Hands-on experience in VM planning, setup and operational execution.
• Excellent project management, organization and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to develop and cascade VM guidelines across regions, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis (approximately 1–2 trips per month).
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
