SumUp in Milan, Italy is seeking a full-time extracurricular internship to support office operations, onboarding, and field sales enablement. You will partner with the Workplace Experience lead to ensure a smooth, scalable office environment for SumUp's Milan team and visiting SumUppers.

You'll collaborate on health and safety, vendor relations, and everyday problem-solving while gaining hands-on exposure to facilities and onboarding processes in a fast-growing company.

• Fluency in Italian and English, spoken and written.
• Experience in office administration, hospitality, or front desk work.
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-growing organization.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in improving processes.
• Ability to juggle multiple workstreams while staying approachable.

Location: Milan, Italy (office-first)

Contract: Tirocinio extracurriculare, full time, 6 months

Team Description

Our Milan office is growing fast, and keeping it running smoothly takes real care and coordination. As the team expands and our field sales network across Italy grows alongside it, this role plays a key part in making sure every SumUpper, in the office or on the road, feels supported and set up to do their best work. You'll work closely with our current Workplace Experience lead, getting hand-on exposure to office operations, health and safety, and onboarding, while helping build a service that can scale as the Milan office grows.

What You'll Do

• Keep day to day office operations running smoothly, from supplies to vendor coordination
• Support new joiners through onboarding and offboarding alongside the People team
• Help field sales colleagues across Italy stay stocked with the kit they need
• Champion health and safety standards, including fire training and documentation

You’ll be great for this role if

• Comfort working with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast growing organisation.
• Strong attention to detail paired with a genuine interest in improving processes, not just maintaining them.
• Ability to juggle several workstreams at once, while staying approachable and helpful under pressure.
