Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, Italy, is seeking a Welder to perform GTAW, SAW and ESW welds. You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and work on-site in Monfalcone.

Requirements include at least 2 years of GTAW/SAW/ESW welding, WPS familiarity, and shift availability. Italian/English at least B1; salary range €29,100 to €37,000 gross annually.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of GTAW/SAW/ESW welding experience.
• Familiar with Welding Process Specifications (WPS).
• Willingness to work in three shifts: morning, afternoon, night.
• Italian and English language ability at least B1 level.

About the role:

The primary function for the Welder is to perform welds in manual and/or semi-automatic welding process.

You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations using GTAW, SAW and ESW processes;
• Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates;
• Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding;
• Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds, and report them to supervisors;
• Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with GTAW/SAW/ESW welding (min. 2 years);
• Familiar with WPS (Welding Process Specifications);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday - Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
