Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Monfalcone, Italy, is seeking an Automatic Welder to perform welds in an automatic welding process and contribute to the Nuclear Fabrication team.

You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager, work across three shifts, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while recording welding parameters.

Qualifications

• Professional school diploma is required.
• Minimum 4 years of welding experience as Automatic Welder.
• Proficiency with Welding Process Specifications (WPS).
• Languages: Italian and English (minimum B1).

About The Role

The primary function for the Automatic Welder is to carry out welds in automatic welding process.

You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using automatic processes (SAW, ESW) and automatic welding equipment;
• Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates;
• Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding;
• Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds, and report them to supervisors;
• Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications

• Professional school diploma;
• Previous experience in the role of Automatic Welder (min. 4 years);
• Proficiency in WPS (Welding Process Specifications);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
