art’otel is seeking a Waiter/Waitress in Italy to deliver outstanding guest experiences, manage your section, and be attentive to details. You will handle guest bills according to procedures, maintain brand standards, and work in a collaborative team environment.

You will support a friendly, efficient service culture with morning, afternoon and evening shifts, contributing to a dynamic dining experience and benefiting from staff programs and benefits.

Your approach to the job will be inspired by your authentic style and self - always ready with care and attention, a great recommendation, a tip that only you could give. You’ll know exactly who needs what and when, you’ll remember their names and you’ll use your creativity and efficiency to deliver a fantastic experience every time.

In your role as a Waiter/Waitress, you’ll discuss and agree some key objectives with your line manager. These objectives are designed to support your department’s goals and priorities. You’ll also take responsibility for your own development, embracing training opportunities that we offer, while learning from any challenges and mistakes along the way.

How You Do It

• You’ll have a great understanding of our restaurant policies and standards of performance, following them at all times, especially those of the restaurant floor.
• You’ll make sure we’re applying our brand standards at every shift. You are flexible with morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
• You’re responsible for managing your section to the highest standards, communicating where needed about lapses in quality.
• You’re up to date and knowledgeable about all our food, drink and amenities.
• You’re responsible for the correct handling and payment of guest’s bills according to our procedures. You’ll also be accountable for all personal cash floats, if any, and for all additional payments to such floats. You’ll complete all cash receipts and reconciliation after each meal period or day and you’ll report any cash discrepancy to management right away.
• You’ll schedule and allocate tasks efficiently to optimise productivity.
• You’ll take your cues from the guidance and instructions given by your leadership team.

The gross annual salary (RAL) for this position starts from €24,000, aligned with CCNL Turismo, and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
