BCG Platinion is seeking a Visiting Associate for a 1-year assignment to tackle core IT challenges for leading global companies. You will contribute to platforms, architectures, strategies, and organizations enhancing digital potential with cloud, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization.

You'll develop IT content, analyze data, and present to diverse stakeholders. The role values MSc degrees, IT know-how, and strong communication in Italian and English, with a hybrid work model.

Competenze

• MSc in economics, management engineering, (business) informatics or comparable degree with outstanding results.
• Very good IT know-how with IT project management, software development or IT service processes; advisory experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• Strong customer- and result-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts, Italian and English proficient.

What You'll Do

• You will support our team with a wide range of activities in various industries and technical environments (e.g. analysis and optimization of IT processes, IT value chains and IT architectures, SW selection…)
• You will develop IT-related project content independently by analyzing relevant data
• You will prepare and follow-up customer meetings and presentations interacting with different stakeholders

What You'll Bring

• You hold an MSc in economics, management engineering, (business) informatics or comparable degree with outstanding results
• You have a very good IT know-how (e.g. IT project management, software development, IT service processes) together with a first practical internship in the IT field (a relevant experience in advice or a service-related environment is considered a plus)
• You have a deep knowledge of the MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• You have strong customer and result-oriented skills
• You feel particularly comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts
• You are very good at understanding and communicating complex topics in both Italian and English

Compensation Information

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, and a market-leading benefits package described below. Our Reward Philosophy is to take a holistic approach to offer a comprehensive package which includes market-competitive base salary, discretionary performance bonus and strong benefits that are locally relevant and support both physical and mental health. Our philosophy drives our actions and aims at being competitive, fair and easy for employees to understand. The annual base salary for this role is EUR 29.800,00 (pro-rated based on the duration of the employment contract).
