Emerson is seeking an Inspection & Testing Engineer in Lugagnano Val d’Arda (PC) to lead inspection and testing activities within a manufacturing setting, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to support safe, on-time project execution while upholding Emerson’s values.

The role requires degree in engineering, experience in manufacturing/quality/project management, and proficiency in English and Italian.

Competenze

• Degree or equivalent education and experience in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, quality, project management.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, standards, and engineering documentation.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate inspection and testing activities to support production and business objectives.
• Ensure valve testing is completed in accordance with applicable international standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee cryogenic testing activities, including test setup, safety compliance, temperature stabilization, and leak detection processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, third-party inspectors, and regulatory representatives during testing and inspection activities.
• Coordinate inspection schedules, witness testing activities, and required documentation to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test reports, inspection records, calibration documentation, non‑conformance reports, and related quality records.
• Support compliance with customer requirements, international standards, PED requirements, and project specifications.
• Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality practices while contributing to a positive safety culture.
• Support and develop technicians and engineers to build technical capability and encourage continuous learning.
• Partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, project management, and shipping teams to improve collaboration and operational effectiveness.
• Support customer visits, factory inspections, meetings, and shipment planning activities to help ensure on‑time project delivery.
