Saipem is seeking a Utility Process Engineer to join the Energy Carriers Business Line in Milano. You will develop heat and material balances, PFDs, and P&IDs, and define equipment sizing and data sheets for process systems.

Some international travel may be required. Education required is a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or similar, with 0–2 years of experience as a Process Engineer, and languages Italian and English.

• Background: 0 - 2 years as a Process Engineer.

Mansioni

• Develop Heat and Material Balances using simulation software.
• Develop Process Flow diagrams (PFDs).
• Define and size Equipment and Instrumentation and issue relevant Process Data sheets and Package Duty Specification.
• Elaborate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Develop Control Narratives and Cause and Effect Matrixes.
• Define the utilities requirements and design the associated systems.
• Participate in multidisciplinary project reviews such as Plot Plan, P&IDs, HAZOP, 3D Model.

Purpose of the position:

As Utility Process Engineer you will be part of the Energy Carriers Business Line.

How can you support us?

• Develop Heat and Material Balances using simulation software
• Develop Process Flow diagrams
• Define and size Equipment and Instrumentation and issue relevant Process Data sheets and Package Duty Specification
• Elaborate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P and IDs)

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Chemical Engineering or similar

Background: 0 - 2 years as a Process Engineer

Languages: Italian, English

Technical/IT Knowledge: Basic knowledge of simulation softwares (HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, Pipenet)

What else should you know? Some international travel may be required
